Would any of you use any kind of trade forum if we had one here on MTGU?

Trading cards in real life ?

If that, dunno how is possible .. but would be good if we could actually do it.

Yeah I'd be down.. Not sure if I have anything people would want.. I mostly have 1 and 2 ofs.

It's more trading through the mail.

Not a chance we'll get this. You literally need to have hundreds of members for there to be a successful barter market, with at least 15+ members having extensive collections such as power, duals, full sets of T2. etc. plus our technology doesn't seem to be as secure as the other Magic trading sites such as Salvation or MOTL.

Also, it opens you to significant legal problems - if you don't send, it might not be your responsibility, but you condoned this person ripping by allowing him to trade... and you're going to lose members because of it.

While I don't necessarily agree that you'll lose members, I don't know why you'd lose members, I don't really think people here are going to be very excited about the prospects of a trade forum. I can safely say that I'd never once use it, even if I did, at times, view it.

Because rippers (if there were any) definitely won't come back, and their victims might be compelled not to either... it's not likely, but it's possible.

i would be happy to do trades iv done them before. anyone need something let me know

Sadly, I think lack of a iTrader style system is basically something that would hurt this idea. But, I was basically just looking for a range of opinions, which I got, so thanks everyone.
