In this thread I plan to post the different tales regarding the various people, places and events that shaped Silverdawn. Before we begin, let's have a short background on the plane:

White
Location: The endless expanse that is Silverdawn. It's most famous landmark is the fortress Ahkras, home to the banishers.
People: Mostly soldiers, knights, clerics - but all wielders of white magic - with those showing exceptional skill becoming Banishers - an elite group of Knights tasked with enforcing its laws. Among these include Dhigse, Saihab and Aohs. With the arrival of Serra, angels are now part of their community.

Blue
Location: The magical coastal region of Cyanbay. It's largest and busiest port can be found in Seval, a city of sorcery.
People: Scholars, merchants and wizards. Among its famed inhabitants include the tricky sorcerer Y'unhe, the merchant Kholas and his daughter, the scholar Jehna.

Black
Location: The forsaken wasteland of Greymist. In the heart of this barren wasteland is Fai-Ataz, the dark realm of rejects.
People: Basically outcasts and rejects from the other lands. Among its denizens include the fallen banisher Mukesh, and his right hand man Thakam, a wily bandit.

Red
Location: The volcanic mountain range of Crimsonpeak. It's capital is Zaparu, the Spires of Fire.
People: Barbarians, nomads, weaponsmiths, and mechanics. Among its famous inhabitants are the barbarian Haivlud, and the weaponsmith Lauris, another one of Kholas' daughters.

Green
Location: The vast and sprawling jungles of Jadeleaf. Although many villages are scattered all over it, chief among them is Vatguh, home of Jaeda and her amazons.
People: Shamans, Druids, Warriors and other people of the woodlands. Prominent among these include the huntress Jaeda, and the warrior Khaille, also a daughter of Kholas.
The cast of the Silverdawn Saga:

Aohs - A young banisher eager to prove his talents. He aspires to be a great banisher, similar to Dhigse and Saihab. On a return trip after doing an errand for Saihab, he rescues Kholas and his daughters from desert raiders, and thus receives the magical armor Dawn's Wrap for his efforts. His heroism also attracted the attention of Kholas' daughters, and is thus the object of their affection. He was one of the heroes who participated in the Great Battle of Goh Vinda, alongside his fiancee, the salvager Khaille. After the war, he married Khaille and fathered a daughter. He eventually rose among the banisher ranks for his courage and skill, becoming one of the most famous banishers in all of Silverdawn.

Budoz - A former banisher, and now a prominent official in Silverdawn. Upon learning of the fraudulent invasion from a traveling planeswalker, he advocated Serra's banishment from the realm, and took up arms against those who allied themselves with her during the Silverdawn civil war.

Dhigse - The rogue banisher. Despite being one of the most powerful banishers, he was unhappy doing a banisher's duties and sought a deeper meaning to his life. He eventually left the banishers and went on numerous adventures all across Silverdawn, thus gaining the friendship of Haivlud and Jaeda, as well as learning of the threat that is Mukesh. The gauntlet Ashfist - which increases his banisher's light a thousandfold - makes sure he's one banisher not to be taken lightly. He fought in the Great Battle of Goh Vinda, and after it eventually left the plane with Serra and Dreana.

Dreana - A beautiful Serra Valkyrie who roam the skies of Silverdawn. She is a close confidant of Dhigse, and usually accompanies him in his adventures all over the plane. After the Great Battle of Goh Vinda, Serra decided to leave the plane, and Dhigse (now inseperable to Dreana) went along with them.

Haivlud - A brash and cocky barbarian from Crimsonpeak. He became a friend of Dhigse after the latter encountered him on his adventures. Skilled with his fearsome weapon, the burning blade Embersoul, he is one of the top warriors his land has to offer. After the Greymist advance decimated his home of Crimsonpeak, he was asked by Dhigse to rally all help he can and join their final stand agaisnt Mukesh at Goh Vinda. He did, and eas one of the heroes of that great battle. After Mukesh was defeated, he headed the reconstruction efforts in Crimsonpeak, later on marrying the fire witch Graiz.

Hoshff - A former banisher who now serves as mentor to any aspiring heroes (provided they survive his strict trainings). Teacher to both Saihab and Dhigse, he has now taken Aohs into his tutelage. Also responsible for the discovery of Makora - a key figure in the final battle at Goh Vinda. Hoshff is credited for the training of a majority of prominent Banishers - aside from those already mentioned, he was also the mentor of Budoz and Phrang. His daughter Fascia eventually joined the banishers, and carried on his legacy for him.

Fascia - Hoshff's daughter, and a powerful light wielder in her own right. She was Makora's guardian while growing up, and eventually became her "big sister" even when both of them served under the Banishers. She later on took up her father's legacy, becoming the trainer of the next batch of Silverdawn Banishers (which was further validated when she married the banisher Nemawz, a former student of her father.)

Graiz - A firewitch from the Crimsonpeak mountains. She later on became the wife of Haivlud, and an adviser to the Goldensun Order, a legion founded by both Dhigse and Haivlud.

Jaeda - The beautiful huntress of Jadeleaf and teacher of Khaille. Deadly with her crossbow, The Needlecloud, as well as with other forms of weapons, she guards her territory with unrivaled tenacity. She developed an admiration for Dhigse, upon their first meeting at Vatguh, but her love was unreciprocated by the latter. Nevertheless, she went at great lengths to help Dhigse, as evidenced at the Great Battle of Goh Vinda when she defiantly confronted Mukesh to save him. She headed the Jadeleaf contingent as they restored Jadeleaf after the Greymist invasion.

Jehna - Daughter of Kholas and sister of Lauris and Khaille. Trained in the academies and libraries of Cyanbay, she is an excellent researcher, artificer and spellcaster.

Khaille - Daughter of Kholas and sister of Jehna and Lauris. Trained in the forest and woodlands of Jadeleaf, she is a master salvager, trapper and pathfinder. A skilled archer, she wields her bow Stormquill with deadly precision. She was one of the first volunteers to join up in the Great Battle of Goh Vinda, teaming up with her beloved Aohs, much agaisnt her father's will (who wanted her to stay away from the battle.) After the invasion, she eventually married Aohs.

Kholas- A Silverdawn merchant, and father of Jehna, Lauris and Khaille. Returning home from a successful trading expedition, they were attacked by desert raiders, only to be rescued by Aohs. He gives him a salvaged armor as a reward, not knowing that this was the Dawn's Wrap, an armor of exceptional power, not to mention value.

Lauris- Daughter of Kholas and sister of Jehna and Khaille. Trained in the foundries and steelforges of Crimsonpeak, she is a skilled weaponsmith, mechanic and artificer.

Mai - Jehna's friend and classmate at the Cyanbay Academy. After graduation, she landed the job of Saihab's personal secretary. The relationship of the two eventually blossomed, resulting to her marrying the banisher later on.

Makora - Born just seconds after the Third Silverdawn Millenium, Hoshff prophesized her be a savior of their world. Orphaned at birth, she was raised by Hoshff alongside his own daughter Fascia, teaching her the ways of the banisher. Her appearance was pivotal at the Great Battle of Goh Vinda - true to what Hoshff predicted, she became instrumental in the defeat of Mukesh and the restoration of peace to the land. A few years after the battle, she formally joined the Banishers, serving as aide and second-in-command to Fascia.

Mukesh - A disgraced banisher who was exiled for excessive greed, abuse in authority and other vile malpractices. He roamed the realm as a mercenary - gaining notoriety in the process - until he reached the foul wastelands of Greymist. Here, he discovered how to use his banisher's light in conjunction with the black mana from the land, resulting to more powerful capabilities, but corrupting him both mentally and physically in the process. Establishing lordship over all the rejects and miscreants inhabiting Greymist, he now rules all of the wastelands unopposed. During the Silverdawn civil war, he rallied the forces of Greymist and marched against Silverdawn.

Phrang - A renowned cleric who strongly believed in Serra. He was the one who campaigned for Serra to stay in Silverdawn, despite the "invasion fiasco". He allied himself with Serra during the Silverdawn civil war.

Saihab - Silverdawn's premier banisher, and considered by many as the greatest they ever had. Compared to Dhigse, he follows the code to a fault, and believes there is no greater duty than dispensing Silverdawn justice. Aside from his awesome banisher abilities, he also wields the mighty saber Pearlfang, which allows him to channel his banisher's light into it, making him almost unstoppable in battle.

Stafa - A treacherous swindler from Greymist, she was rumored to have a secret affair with the fallen banisher Mukesh.

Thakam - A bandit from Silverdawn who became Mukesh's right hand man. After fleeing the realm of light and taken refuge in Greymist, he got corrupted by the promise of power and has thus aligned himself with the forces of darkness. Also responsible for numerous spy networks which keep the Lord of Greymist informed of the various events happening all over Silverdawn.

Y'unhe - Cyanbay's most celebrated prankster. Mesmerized by the crystal in Dhigse's Ashfist, he tried stealing it, and it's through the chase that followed that the latter encountered the valkyrie Dreana.

The Silverdawn Saga: VENGEANCE

After the planeswalker Serra fled her collapsing realm, she swore revenge against those responsible for it - the Phyrexians. Travelling for many years, she and her band of refugees finally found a hospitable plane on the distant part of the multiverse. This plane was Silverdawn, and it is here that Serra finally decided to settle down and stage her plans of revenge.

Silverdawn is a realm divided into five distinct parts. The largest of these goes by the same name, and is a land of vast plains and rolling fields. To it's west is Cyanbay, a seaside haven. On its northeasten side is the volcanic realm of Crimsonpeak, while the vast forests of Jadeleaf is on its east. On the other side of Crimsonpeak lie Greymist, a shadowy land cloaked in eternal darkness.

The people of Silverdawn were quite apprehensive at Serra's sudden arrival, but were quickly appeased when they learned that she, like the plane's inhabitants, wielded white magic. A friendship between Serra and the people of Silverdawn was soon established, and from then on learned from one another and lived in close communion.

Upon learning of the Phyrexian threat from Serra, the people of Silverdawn became conscious of their own safety, and thus were more than willing to join Serra's call for justice. War preparations soon commenced. Little did they know that they would be preparing for a war that would never come, as the Phyrexian War was fought and ended in Dominaria, a miilion light years away from Silverdawn.

Amidst all this tension, the main story revolves around the banisher Dhigse. Unhappy with his duties as a banisher, he decides to leave and have adventures all over the realm, much to the disdain of his friend and compatriot Saihab. First arriving in Cyanbay, he meets and gains the friendship and companionship of the Serra Valkyrie Dreana. Later on, he finds himself in Crimsonpeak, and befriends the barbarian Haivlud. Crossing Greymist, he becomes aware of the fallen banisher Mukesh and the threat he poses to all those aligned with the light. Finally, in Jadeleaf, he wins the respect of the skilled huntress Jaeda. But despite travelling across the realm, Dhigse still hasn't found out what he seeks.

Meanwhile, in Silverdawn, the people eventually learned about the fraudulent invasion, thanks to the efforts of some who were against Serra in the first place, and now turn against the planeswalker and those allied with her.
The Silverdawn Saga: TWILIGHT

The storyline of Twilight begins with a young man named Aohs being inducted into the ranks of the Banishers. Eager to prove his talents, he quickly accepts a mission from Saihab to journey to an outpost in far western side of the realm. On the way back, he saves a trade caravan from desert raiders. Here he meets the merchant Kholas, as well as his three daughters - Jehna, Lauris and Khaille. He escorts these to safety, develops a strong friendship with them, then continued his duties as a banisher. He eventually encounters the master banisher Hoshff, becoming the latter's student in the process.

Meanwhile, civil war ensues in Silverdawn, as the people are divided on the matters concerning Serra and the discovery of the false invasion. Those loyal to Serra, led by Phrang, believe she deserves to stay in the realm, and that such events was just an honest mistake. The others, influenced by fanatically patriotic Budoz, want her gone as soon as possible. The Banishers take no part in such matters, and are powerless to prevent the rising hostilities between the two conflicting parties.

On the eastern part of the plane, the fallen banisher Mukesh sees this war as the perfect opportunity to seek revenge on Silverdawn. This timing couldn't be more perfect, as he discovers an awesome new weapon in the Smog Cloak, a device which creates a great shroud of darkness, which in turn strenghtens him and his allies. He rallies his minions and marches west, towards the realm of light, destroying all those who oppose him.

The minions of Greymist easily make their way through Crimsonpeak and Jadeleaf, with the latters' defenders completely unable to match the dark side's newfound strength. Dhigse learns of such an invasion from Haivlud and Jaeda - two survivors of the Greymist onslaught. He realizes Mukesh's intentions, and quickly returns to Silverdawn with them to warn the warring parties in an effort to stop the fallen banisher.

Prior to leaving, he asks them to find all help they can in an effort to make a final stand against Mukesh. He then runs into Aohs - who was again on one of Saihab's errands - and learns from him the state of Silverdawn, and that the warring parties have gathered for a final showdown. He asks Aohs to seek out the banishers while he tries to prevent the impending battle. But can Dhigse arrive in time to prevent his people from killing each other, and unify them against the rising threat of darkness?
The Silverdawn Saga: REDEMPTION

Dhigse arrives just in time before the two warring parties actually clash, and was able to prevent any possible hostility by informing them of the threat of Mukesh. Thus, he was able to unify them temporarily, against a common enemy. Budoz insists on the adavantage of a surprise attacks and suggest that they meet Mukesh head on, but is convinced otherwise by Dhigse - and the others - to wait for possible reinforcements, considering the newfound power of the Greymist horde. They choose to wait for Mukesh at the famed battleground of Goh Vinda, and here they plan to make their final stand.

Mukesh arrives a day after the forces of Silverdawn converge at Goh Vinda, and the final battle takes place not long after. After the initial onslaught of the Greymist forces pushes the defenders back - thanks primarily to the newfound power brought about by the Smogcloak - reinforcements from Jadeleaf and Crimsonpeak (thanks to Jaeda and Haivlud) arrive to help turn the tide. After initially halting the Greymist advance, it seemed that the power of Mukesh and his minions would not be contained so easily.

Finally, the Angels of Serra arrive, along with Aohs, Saihab, the rest of the banishers, as well as fresh troops furnished by the wizards and merchants of Cyanbay. The battle then reaches its full peak, with neither side willing to give in. Just when the forces of Greymist seemed to get the upper hand, Hoshff arrives, and with him his protege Makora - a girl he prophesized to be the savior of their world, and thus later on trained to fulfill such a glorious destiny.

Mukesh wielding the Smogcloak was just simply unstoppable, and even with the combined assault of Dhigse (with his powerful gauntlet, the Ashfist), Saihab (wielder of the mighty saber, the Pearlfang) and Aohs (bearer of the mystic armor, the Dawn's Wrap), it seemed like the day was lost. But with Makora's awesome banisher's light - which increased the power of the already powerful artifacts - the power of the Smogcloak was finally outmatched.

Still, Mukesh was not to be beaten so easily, and having absorbed much of the power of the Smogcloak himself , he was able to transform himself into a horrendous monster hellbent on total annihilation. With Aohs, Saihab and Dhigse working together, they were fianlly able to channel all their Banisher's light into a powerful beam that finally brought down the abomination spawned by Greymist. With the fall of Mukesh, the Greymist horde lost the will to fight, and hastily retreated away from the battlefield.

The battle was finally over, and they were the ones victorious.

The final days of the saga was marked by a transition of sorts. After peace has been restored in the realm, the citizens of Silverdawn and Cyanbay helped in the rebuilding of both Jadeleaf and Crimsonpeak - each totally decimated during the invasion - with Saihab being in-charge of such activities. Serra blamed herself for the chaos she supposedly caused and deemed it necessary to leave the realm. Dhigse, now inseparable to Dreana, decides to go with them. Before doing so, he leaves the Ashfist to Aohs as a wedding gift of sorts. (He got engaged to Khaille prior the battle of Goh Vinda, and promised to marry her afterwards.)
When Aohs met Khaille

When Aohs accepted Saihab's mission to deliver some documents to several outposts the other side of the Silverdawn desert, he never expected it to change his life forever. This is because it is through the said event that he acquired the armor that would save his life - and that of his allies - and also meet the girl he would eventually call his wife.

Saihab gave him the mission primarily to test his resolve - the outposts were indeed quite distant, and travelling through the desert is no easy feat. But eager to show his worth, Aohs accepted it without hesitation, and immediately left to see it accomplished as soon as possible. He does so without any trouble and heads for home after doing all that's necessary.

On his way back, he spies a caravan in the distance, being attacked by desert raiders. These nomads prey on passing travelers, and make quick raids without pity or remorse. Aohs quickly springs into action - channeling his light into a blinding beam, he immediately knocks out several raiders who were closest to him. The other nomads who saw this recognized him as a banisher, and hastily escaped to avoid further casualties.

The man whose caravan he rescued was named Kholas, and he was very grateful for Aohs' efforts. As a token of his gratitude, he gives him an old armor he just salvaged. But Aohs got more than what he bargained for - Kholas happens to be a father of three lovely daughters, all of whom where there to witness Aohs' bravery and were impressed by his actions.

He then came face-to-face with three of the loveliest ladies he has ever seen: Jehna, the eldest, was a scholar from Cyanbay - smart, witty and learned in all sorts of wizardry. Lauris, the second, hails from the forges of Crimsonpeak - raw, passionate, and masterful in the use of fire. Khaille was the youngest - sweet, kind and caring - a delicate blossom from Jadeleaf.
